Ryan Andrews has been Pitch Hammer Music’s resident metadata wrangler since 2013. From deep tagging stems to managing distribution on dozens of platforms, Ryan’s focus on reliability, consistency and flexibility makes sure Pitch Hammer’s music is easy to find when you need it.
A Chicago native, Ryan trained at Western Michigan University and the University of Miami before arriving in LA and joining the Pitch Hammer team. Since his start at Pitch Hammer, Ryan has helped the library organize, distribute and maintain their catalog to several online vendors, databases and sub-publishers, each with their own unique flavor of metadata formats and systems.
As a composer and producer, Ryan’s work has been featured in dozens of advertising campaigns for films, TV and video games such as Fate Of The Furious, Avengers: Age Of Ultron, NBC Sunday Night Football and the Call Of Duty series. Throughout his career he has had the privilege of working with a wide variety of acclaimed artists in both production and performance roles, including pop star Aloe Blacc, jazz legend Lyle Mays and Persian icon Dariush Eghbali.
He currently maintains a schedule balancing composition, performance and his production management duties at Pitch Hammer.
